  • Improved Carbon nanotubes growth in CVD synthesis by enhancing mass and heat transfer in the reactor.
  • Assisted in energy balance estimate for a power generation plant operated by TVA; TVA manages the Tennessee river system, balancing the public benefits of navigation, flood control, power production and transmission, water quality, and recreation. This project studied the ways to develop energy efficiency/emission control research for TVA.
  • Used infrared camera for temperature measurements in biomedical field to control the growth of bacteria.
  • Carbon nanotubes applications in nano sensors.
  • Measurements of gas species by Gas Chromatographer (GC), and using LEASR in particle size and velocity measurement.
  • Designed, constructed, and operated the CVD reactor project in Department of Mechanical Engineering Laboratory.
