Managed the construction for the implementation of the new systems.
Started-up the new units and resolved all operating issues.

A subsidiary of Cyprus Amax Minerals Company and world-wide leader in the mining, processing and marketing of lithium chemicals and metal. As Vice President of Engineering, responsible for developing and implementing the technologies, facilities and physical environment required to support the business strategies of the company.
Vice President and General Manager, Chemicals & Minerals Division, Exton, PA: Responsible for the United States based lithium chemical production (by brine evaporation and hard rock mining), as well as domestic and international sales. Managed over 500 employees and annual sales of $65 million.
Operations Manager, Silver Peak, NV : Managed the remote brine processing facility and its 65 employees. Completed two successful brine well drilling campaigns which resulted in the life of the operation increasing by a factor of two. Instituted a four day work week which reduced employee turnover by about 10%.
Manager, Process Development: Reactivated a Virginia Processing plant that had been closed for four years, which enabled the company to stay in the lithium hydroxide business after a toll producer ceased production.
