Patented inventions and research led to the development of "Vamac", "Viton" G-types, "Kalrez" and Zymaxx products.
Early work on ethylene alkyl acrylate elastomer copolymers is the basis on which the present "Vamac" was developed. Curing system currently used was patented by consultant.
Introduced the peroxide curable (G-Types) "Viton" as Division Head of the "Viton" Research Group. Led all plant trials to manufacture new products.
As Division Head of "Viton", led the building of the pilot unit to demonstrate the extrusion isolation process . The commercial plant was successfully constructed from the pilot project.
Involved in patents realted to: "Kalrez" peroxide cure; "Kalrez" clear grades with radiation cures; and modified perfluoroelastomer types for thin transparent coatings for Pellicles.
