Gradually increasing set of responsibilities and advancement up the technical ladder over the years, culminating in the senior technical leadership role at Dow indicated by the rank of Scientist.
Developed and implemented the SYNTHIA software program for predicting polymer properties. It was commercialized globally by Dow Chemical via a licensing arrangement in early 1993.

Used theoretical chemistry and theoretical solid state physics to study advanced inorganic materials developed for photovoltaic, electrical and optical switching, and hydrogen storage applications.

They also include several book chapters and several invited review articles. Two patent applications (pending) on polyurethanes containing reinforcing fillers.
