In 1985, six retired Du Pont scientists and engineers started The CECON Group, Inc. They immediately found a huge demand for their technical expertise and experience. In the course of their consulting, they also found a huge demand for technical experts outside their own skill areas. Thus, the CECON consulting network began finding the exact experts who can specifically address clients' technical problems and needs.
CECON's original roots were in chemistry, polymers, chemical engineering, materials technology, and related fabricated products. Today, CECON represents a vast array of world class scientific and engineering experts in many disciplines that serve global clients in all areas of science and technology.
In 2015, CECON was acquired as a strategic asset by Becht Engineering, Inc. Becht is a worldwide company with 12 offices in the U.S. and Canada comprising over 350 personnel. With Becht's extensive experience in the Oil & Gas area, Power Production, Design Experience and Project Management arenas, CECON's reach into a broader array of market segment experts is possible.
Today the CECON/BECHT consultant family is thriving; with more technical experts added each month to our data base.
